DDA Allotment |
DDA Allotment of flats, plots and shops is carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations that the Delhi Development Authority has adopted for a particular location in the city. The procedure of allotment and also the mode of payment under that procedure depend largely on the DDA housing scheme under which the allotment is being made. For example, the procedure for allotment of plots through auction under Rohini Residential Scheme is substantially different from the procedure followed in the allotment of flats under housing scheme 2008. Similarly, there might be variation in the procedures involved in DDA allotment of shops, flats, plots and other residential houses under different schemes of residential and commercial allotments. The variation may also exist between allotments to individuals and institutions.
DDA Allotment of Plots through Auction
An advertisement regarding the allotment of DDA plots through auction is published in the newspaper at least a month before the date of auction. The forms, brochures and other details are made available at select counters of DDA headquarters and other offices. One-fourth of the bid amount is required to be paid at the time of auction while the remainder within a month of the issue of the demand-cum-allotment letter. It is possible to pay this balanced amount within an extended period not exceeding beyond six months from the date of the issue of the demand-cum-allotment letter provided the authority accepts your request for the extension in payment period. After the payment is cleared, the process moves ahead with the possession of the plot and the execution of the title deed followed by the construction of the LIG or MIG flats as per the guidelines and approved plans of Delhi Development Authority.
