DDA Sports Complexes located at various parts of Delhi and offer a wide range of facilities required for the development of sports infrastructure in the city. Delhi Development Authority is responsible for all-round development of the city laying special focus on aspects like sports, recreation, maintaining green environment and ensuring a clutter-free lifestyle. These are in addition to its works towards providing solutions for affordable housing. The various master plans that the authority adopted over the years, including the present Master Plan 2010 have laid emphasis on the development of sports facilities across the city. This has resulted in the upcoming of DDA sports complexes, golf courses, sports clubs, multigyms, play fields and other sports structures at various locations in Delhi.
DDA Sports Complexes in Delhi
There is a Sports Management Board (SMB) under the chairmanship of Lt. Governor that heads all sport activities and exercises control over the DDA sports Complexes in Delhi. There are at present 14 sports complexes covering most areas in Delhi's North, South, East and West Zone. These are as follows:

- Baba Gang Nath Sports Complex, Munirka
- Chilla Sports Complex
- Major Dhyan Chand Sports Complex, Ashok Vihar
- Hari Nagar Sports Complex
Apart from these, five more sports complexes at Narela, Karol Bagh, Dwarka Phase II, Rohini Ph III and Raj Ghat, along with three mini sports complexes at Alakhnanda, Partap Nagar and Kanti Nagar are coming up soon. In addition to these, there are numerous DDA golf courses, sports clubs, multigyms and play fields spread across the city.

Moreover, DDA organizes a number of sports activities round the year according to an annual action plan, which comprises events like sports tournament, sports gala, open squash tournament, junior tennis tournament, invitational hockey tournament, football tournament, roller-skating championship and golf tournaments.

Anybody can join a DDA sports complex and avail its facilities upon taking the membership on "pay and play" basis. The monthly payment made by the members of a sports complex is used for its maintenance and upkeep. There are several types of membership available, which may include life time individual membership, corporate membership, temporary membership, honorary membership and casual membership. The charges vary according to the membership plan, with the provision of special concessions for senior citizens and students. Most of these sports complexes also offer coaching facilities through different schemes based on revenue sharing between DDA and the coach.
