HUDA Faridabad is one among the five zonal offices of the Haryana Urban Development Authority. The other four circles are located at Gurgaon, Hisar, Panchkula and Rohtak. Each zone is headed by an Administrator who acts as a coordinator for all the Urban Estate Officers coming under that zone. HUDA Faridabad has four Estate Officers located at Palwal, Hathin, Roz-Ka-Meo and Faridabad itself. The Administrator is responsible for the planned development of the areas falling under the zone as per the guidelines laid in HUDA Faridabad Master Plan. To achieve this, a good coordination is established between various wings of the authority at the zonal level and the administrator plays an important role in this.
HUDA Faridabad Master Plan
The major objectives of HUDA are to develop and maintain infrastructure of the areas under its purview and also to provide affordable housing solutions to different sections of the society. These objectives cannot be achieved without a planned development approach and that justifies the requirement of a well-laid master plan. HUDA Faridabad Master Plan is an outcome of the coordinated efforts of different government bodies including the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad under JNNURM. The plan aims at the creation of urban infrastructural and recreational facilities in the forms of Multiplexes, Education Cities, Shopping Malls, Medicities, Multilevel Parking, Hotels, Convention Centers, Community Centers and Habitat Centers, besides ensuring adequate housing infrastructure for the growing number of residents.

Under the HUDA scheme of residential plots in Faridabad, applications are invited from individuals on a prescribed form. The rates of the plots and other application details are provided in the newspaper advertisement which is now also being made available online through its website. The allotment is done through a draw of lots and the applicants have to wait till the publication of the draw results at a predetermined date.
