PUDA was established in the year 1995 to develop urban infrastructure and expedite the growth of real estate properties. It aims to carry out planned development of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial lands in the state of Punjab. Punjab is one of the largest and fastest growing states of India. The objective of PUDA is to fulfill the social and other basic needs of the people of Punjab through construction of residential houses and bringing advancement to urban development. It is also promoting real estate companies and private builders for the rapid growth of the urban states as per the layout of the master plan.
The plan of the PUDA is to fulfill social, residential and commercial needs of the people living in the ever changing society of Punjab. The action plans of PUDA cover all the major areas of the state, which may include Amritsar, Jalandhar, Bhatinda, Hoshiyarpur, Kapurthala, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Patiala. Moreover, PUDA has planned separately for the quick development of major urban areas in the state of Punjab.
PUDA Plots
PUDA plots contribute significantly in the development of residential houses in Punjab and thus increasing the pace of urbanization here. PUDA offers industrial, commercial, residential and institutional lands for the overall development of infrastructure. PUDA affiliates the well designed and well structured plots in terms of the development of Punjab.
PUDA plots are being developed under the Punjab Planning and Urban development Authority Act. Moreover the developments of these plots bring the modern living standard to the residents of Punjab. Punjab is one of the highly popular areas and is developing day by day with the rapid rise in the development of infrastructure.
PUDA has approved plots for sale in Amritsar, Ludhiana, Kharar, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, and Bhawan Mohali. PUDA carries out allotment of freehold residential plots in cities, such as Bhatinda through auctions on the one hand while on the other hand it brings into existence approved colonies at places like Ludhiana and Kharar.
