Alabama Real Estate License Requirements |
Alabama Real Estate License Requirements for the Brokers as well as Sales Associates must be fulfilled if one wants the real estate license. The requirements include certain years of education, age, character, pre-licensing course and real estate license exam.
Sales Associates Real Estate License Requirements in Alabama:
- Citizen or lawful resident of US
- Good moral character with no criminal record
- At least 19 years of age
- High school graduate
- Real estate application must not be revoked or rejected in other state within the period of two years
- Completed the 60 hours of pre-licensing course
- Cleared the real estate license exam
After completing all these requirements, applicant will get the temporary license. In order to get the Original License one must complete the 30 hours of post-licensing training courses. The completion of the same must be done within 12 months of getting the inactive license.
If the requirement of post-licensing education is not done within the period of six months then the temporary license will enter into the inactive status, but applicant can still work.
If the course requirement is not completed within the said period of time then the license will expire. To make the inactive license active original license fee along with recovery fund fee must be submitted.
Alabama Real Estate License Requirements for Broker
- 60 hours of pre-licensing real estate license exam. The completion of the same must be done before the real estate license exam and that too with 70% grade.
- Must be an active license holder with 24 months of work experience.
- Clear the real estate license exam
