Arizona Association of Realtors

Arizona Association of Realtors (AAR), a part of the National Association of Realtors, is a trade association of Arizona real estate practitioners that offers invaluable services to its members. It comprises 21 local associations of realtors spread across the state and also has seven organizations affiliated to it. Currently, there are about 53 thousands members in Arizona Association of Realtors and its subsidiary associations, which makes it the largest trade association of the state. A person engaged in any area of real estate, such as commercial, residential, land, property management, relocation and appraisal can become a member of the AZ Association of Realtors, which is sometimes also referred to as Arizona Board of Realtors.

All AAR members must abide by the NAR Code of Ethics, which has been designed to bring professionalism in real estate transactions and set ethical norms for real estate brokers, real estate agents and all other real estate practitioners in Arizona. The objectives of the Arizona Realtors Association is to support real estate professionals in their commercial ventures and to give a direction to the development of real estate in Arizona, AZ . The benefits and services provided by the Arizona Board of Realtors to its members are just the means to achieve these objectives. The AZ Board of Realtors also works towards protecting the rights to own private property in the state.

Arizona Association of Realtors has created several work groups and four standing committees in order to function smoothly. The four standing committees include Grievance, Issues Mobilization, Professional Standards and Realtors of Arizona Political Action Committee (RAPAC). Many other organizations have been floated by the Arizona Board of Realtors for executing specialized tasks. Prominent among these are the Arizona Realtors Housing Needs Foundation and the Arizona Realtors Disaster Assistance Foundation, Inc. The former is established to provide affordable housing to homeless people in Arizona while the latter gives assistance to the people suffered badly in a natural calamity.

The services provided by Arizona Association of Realtors include educational programs & seminars, electronic information distribution, conferences & conventions, publications, political seminars, commercial information exchange, risk management education, legislative advocacy, public relations, availability of forms in electronic format, professional standards training & consultation, CRMS program etc. Among the resources provided by Arizona Realtors Association include MLS, which caters to the real estate requirements for buy, sale and rent. The MLS helps a property seeker find a home instantly and for sure.

Arizona Association of Realtors Forms

AAR prepares a number of real estate related forms for the use of Realtors and general public in the state. There are Residential Rental Forms and Purchase & Sales Forms for homes, vacant land and commercial property. The layout of the forms has recently been updated to bring uniformity in their format. Some of the widely used forms prepared by the association include Residential Rental Agreement, Residential Lease Agreement, Real Estate Agency Disclosure and Election, Lead-based Paint, Loan Status Update and the Cure Period Notice.

Loan Status Report (LSR)

The use of Arizona Association of Realtors LSR has been made mandatory by the new AAR Contract while making offer to buy resale residential property that involves mortgage. The LSR is considered as a necessary part of the purchase contract which the Association has published for common use. The Loan Status Report may be omitted in cases when someone is using a form not published by the AAR.
