Arkansas Real Estate License Reciprocity covers the candidates who are licensed in other state and wants to work in AR. The real estate license reciprocity is done by the Real Estate Commission among two or more than two states. With this reciprocal agreement some of the courses, education and portion of licensing exam is waived.
The reciprocal agreement creates a link between the two states so that boundaries do not come in the work much. The state Commission constantly reviews the practices and laws of other state. Based on the outcome of the research, the state enters or remove the reciprocity. But these types of changes are not made that often.
If the candidate who is working as a licensed professional in other state that has the Arkansas real estate license reciprocal agreement, must complete the basic educational requirements. If the applicant is applying for the license at the same level then and has completed the educational requirements then the general portion of the real estate license exam can be waived by the Commission under the rules of reciprocal agreement.
