Arkansas Real Estate License Requirements for real estate professionals are clearly defined so that the services are provided only by the licensed professional and that too current. No criminal background, age, basic education are must to have among other obligatory requirements.
Arkansas Real Estate License Requirements for Salesperson
- 18 years of age
- 60 Classroom hours - Real Estate Education including 30 hours of Principles of Real Estate
- Take and clear the real estate license examination
- Within the period of 90 days complete the form for license and send the same to the Commission.
AR Real Estate License Requirements for Brokers
- 18 years of age
- Real Estate Principles, Real Estate License Law and Commission Regulation - 60 Classroom Hours within 36 months from the date of filing the application
- Must be a licensed real estate salesperson for the period of 24 months in the last 4 months.
- Take and clear the real estate license examination
Out of State Resident, Real Estate License Requirements in Arkansas
- The applicant must be licensed in other state
- Clear the general portion of real estate exam of the state in at least 70 grade
- Has cleared another state's real estate license exam covering, a uniform, general, or multi-state portion of a test. This exam must be specified by the Commission.

The Commission can also give exemption in exam after reviewing the application of the out of state candidate. Along with the pre-licensing real estate license requirements, brokers and salespersons also need to complete post-license requirement. This include completion of the courses within the period of one year from the beginning of licensure. For salesperson, completion of 18 classroom hours and for brokers completion of 30 classroom hours is must.
