Pre-licensing education includes 60 classroom hours and 30 should be from the field of basic principles of real estate. The education can be taken from the post secondary school or organization that is approved by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission and Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education. After this licensure examination is cleared. Completing all the formalities lead to the process of getting Arkansas real estate license for which the forms should be submitted to the commission office within 90 days of successfully clearing the examination.

Age limits for the salesperson is same as that of brokers. 60 classroom hours that include license law, real estate principles and commission regulations are necessary and these should be taken from the schools or organizations that are accredited by the Real Estate Commission and Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education. The applicant should be active real estate broker or salesperson for the period of at least twenty four months. Arkansas Real Estate License: Basic Requirements

Applicant who is not the resident of Arkansas can also apply for the license. But for this s/he must have cleared the state part of exam that covers uniform, general or multi parts. Applicant should be licensed in other state before appearing for the AR real estate exam.
In the exam the general portion can be waived if the agent is entering at the same level as in other state.
