Colorado Real Estate Classes should only be taken from the recognized real estate school or from the community college. Online classes, correspondence classes in real estate and flexible classes has made the education very accessible.
The number and hours of CO real estate classes differ with the level of working. According to work experience and real estate license exam there are three types of real estate agents in the state:
- Associate broker
- Independent broker
- Employing broker
Real Estate Class for Associate Brokers
Associate broker does not need previous experience. They need 168 hours of real estate courses that can be taken in the Colorado real estate classes. Associate brokers who have some experience can get some exemption in the number of classes and courses. College graduates need no further real estate classes in Colorado.
Real Estate Class for Independent Brokers
Real estate independent broker requires two years of experience. After getting license they can work independently but cannot hire any other broker. Independent brokers who have associate broker license need no further CO real estate classes.Real Estate Class for Employing BrokersEmploying broker also need two years of work experience and 24 hours of Brokerage Administration training. Professionals whose license has been expired for more than three years are required to complete the classes with specific number of hours and courses. |

This is also applicable to out of state candidates. Brokerage Administration training is also required by College graduate who are doing major in real estate. Along with this they also need to clear the Employing Broker real estate exam.
All these need Colorado real estate classes. Even for the continuing education you need to attend the classes and complete the course requirement. Professional candidates, after clearing the exam can also become the part of the National Association of Realtors and the Colorado Association of Realtors for the support and up-to-date information.
