Delaware Real Estate License Reciprocity |
Delaware Real Estate License Reciprocity agreement allows the applicant from other state to work in DE by completing certain experience and education requirements. Any candidate outside the state can also become licensed professional under Delaware real estate license reciprocity.
DE Real Estate License Reciprocity Agreement
Applicant who is not the resident of Delaware can also apply for the license under Delaware real estate license reciprocity agreement. Licensed broker from other state can get the nonresident broker's license in Delaware as per 24 Del.C.$2902(a). Same like this salesperson can also get nonresident real estate license in DE if the licensed broker has employed the salesperson.
Real Estate License Reciprocal: Requirements
Candidate under Delaware real estate license reciprocal agreement need to clear the state portion of real estate exam. For the candidates, who are working under licensed real estate broker having office outside DE need not to present any further education. All the applicants then will have to submit the original application to the Delaware Real Estate Commission. The submission should be made within a year of completing the exam. Also present the copy of real estate license to the Commission. Brokers who are willing to get license under Delaware real estate license reciprocity must also give the proof of experience. Make sure to submit the list of 30 sales transactions made within five years. This list must include the following details:
- Name of buyer and seller
- Address of property
- Type of Property
- Signature of the Broker of Record
- Price and date of settlement
So the out side candidate must complete all the requirements of education and experience. Any candidate who wants to work with resident licensed real estate broker but has office out of the state need to complete the 99 hours of pre-licensing courses.
