GA Real Estate License Course gets approval from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. For these approved courses there are accredited schools of real estate schools and instructor who are certified to train the individuals seeking to study GA real estate license course. The schools have to get the certificate of approval for the same.
Georgia Real Estate License Course: Basic Requirements
- Must be educational in nature
- Must educate the students with basic language of the profession
- Must cover real estate license's duties and responsibilities

Pre-License Real Estate License Courses in Georgia
For Salesperson, 75 hours of classroom instruction are kept as the pre-license real estate courses. In this course; real estate contracts, real estate instruments and conveyances, law of agency, real estate financing, city and urban development, anti-trust law, safety precautions, Georgia Real Estate License Law, fair housing, taxations, environmental law etc are covered.
Broker will have to take 60 hours of post licensing education from the approved real estate school. In this course revision of Salesperson's Pre-License Course is also done. Along with this GA real estate license course will also include real estate office management, trust account record keeping, loan closing, discharging broker's responsibilities etc.
Post-License GA Real Estate License Course
The salesperson post license course is given as classroom instruction and covered in 25 hours. In this 10% of the time is given to the exercises and final examinations or tests. Brokers must complete 60 hours of real estate license course in order to keep the active license.

Any change in the school or course will not carry forward the number of hours attended for the original course. Along with these GA real estate license courses, six hours of continuing education in each year for the period of four years, both for broker and salesperson, is the requirement of getting the license. In each renewal period these hours must be completed so that active license can be maintained. On completion of these licensing courses, candidate will be given a certificate, showing the details of CE.
