Apart from that a background check for applicant's criminal history is done and a copy of the same must be submitted at the AMP Testing Center before the issuance of a license.

Georgia Real Estate Broker Course

Educational requirements for a sales person seeking a broker license includes successful completion of 60-hour of Broker's Prelicense Course at an accredited school. A community association manager on the other hand needs to complete an additional 75-hour of course approved by the GA real estate commission.

Georgia Real Estate Broker Exam

A salesperson must work as an active licensee for at least three years before taking the real estate exam while a community association manager can take the broker exam after working actively for two years. The broker exam is administered by AMP using the new testing method. The fee to appear in the exam is $19 while the total fee towards making application for a broker's license is $170.

Georgia Real Estate Broker Reciprocity

Georgia has a reciprocal agreements with almost all the States of the US except Florida. As a result, a broker licensed in other states can obtain a reciprocal license without appearing in the broker exam. For this, the candidate needs to have completed all prelicense and continuing education requirements as set by Georgia Real Estate Commission along with the successful passage of an examination similar to the kind followed in Georgia for the licensure of a real estate broker.
