Hawaii Real Estate Appraisers are licensed by the Professional and Vocational Licensing Division (PVL) of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Hawaii (DCCA). The PVL is the de jure state agency for implementing licensing regulations for as many as 46 different professions. Besides offering licenses to qualified people, the division also handles renewals and reviews, and maintains license records. There is a licensing branch, which has separate sections for handling license applications and maintaining records.
