Hawaii Real Estate License Exam is administered by Pearson VUE. This licensing exam is conducted for salesperson, broker and real estate instructor.
Hawaii Real Estate License Exam: Basic Requirements
The basic requirements for real estate licensing in the state of Hawaii are as follows:
- 18 years of age
- Citizen of US or authorized to work in US
- Completion of Hawaii pre-licensing course or has the Equivalency to Pre-license Education Course
- Broker should also submit the proof of experience
- Submit the proof of good moral character
Real Estate License Exam Registration
Hawaii Real Estate License Exam Registration can be done Online, over the telephone,fax and through mail. Online you can visit the site of PSI and submit the registration form. You can select the exam date and center. There is an Interactive Voice Response system (IVR) with PSI that is used to make registration over the phone. Use VISA or MasterCard for making the payment. Fax registration can be done any time of the day on (702)-932-2666. For examination schedule call PSI after four business days. Registration for Hawaii real estate license exam can also be made through mail. Send the complete for with money order or cashier's check to the PSI.
HI real estate license exam has two portions, which are as follow:
- Uniform (State) section
- State section

Both Uniform section of Hawaii real estate license exam for salesperson and broker will contain 80 questions that will have to be completed in 150 minutes. For state section will be covered in 50 questions with 90 minutes as completion time. In order to get the license candidates are required to clear both the sections of real estate exam. Rescheduling of real estate exam can be done two days before the actual date of Hawaii real estate license exam.
It is advisable to reach at least 30 minutes before the actual time of the license examination. You must bring two ID proofs. One with photograph and signature and other with legal name and signature. Along with this on the day of Hawaii real estate license exam also provide the Hawaii School Completion Certificate or Prelicensing Education Equivalency Certificate. After completing the Hawaii real estate license exam candidate will immediately get the score on the screen and can also get the score report showing the details whether you have cleared the license exam or not.
