Louisiana Real Estate Broker License

To get the brokers' real estate license in Louisiana one must be having high school diploma and should have experience of working as salesperson for two years. Louisiana real estate licensing for brokers needs 150 hours of approved courses. In these courses 30 hours each are given to the Louisiana Real Estate Law and Broker Responsibilities. These courses must be done within the period of five years. Applicant who are from the other state and applying for the Louisiana real estate license can be exempted from national part of the real estate exam if given within the period of five years. But in any case they will have to clear the state portion of real estate exam for getting real estate license in LA.

Real Estate Licensing for Salesperson

Louisiana real estate licensing needs broadly require certain level of education, pre-licensing courses, exam and experience. For salesperson to get the real estate license in LA the age should be 18 or more with high school diploma. Along with this 90 hours of pre- licensing courses and real estate exam for salesperson must be successfully done.

LA Real Estate License Requirements

Along with this every licensed real estate salesperson or broker have to complete the 8 hours of continuing education for the renewal of the real estate license, as on every 31st December the license gets expired. These courses can also be completed from the distance learning schools.
