Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) is an association for licensed professionals engaged in real estate business anywhere in the State. There are 16 local Realtors Association in the State of Massachusetts, the membership of which is open to local real estate practitioners, such as brokers, real estate agents, sales agent, appraisers etc. Once you join a local board, your membership is automatically extended to a state level associations, such as Massachusetts Association of Realtors and further to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) . At present, the total membership of MASS Association of Realtors has grown over 22,000 realtors and it is headquartered at Waltham, MA.
The purpose behind the establishment of Massachusetts Association of Realtors, also known as Massachusetts Board of Realtors, is to bring unity among real estate practitioners and help them earn more in their professions.Massachusetts Realtors Association: Its Services The MA Assoc of Realtors also offers legal and technological support to their members besides providing them opportunities for professional development and educational pursuit. The Educational Designation Programs sponsored by MA Realtors Association include Graduate Realtor Institute Designation, Certified Residential Brokerage Manager Designation, Certified International Property Specialist Designation, Certified Residential Specialist Designation, Certified Buyer Representative Designation and Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation.
In order to prevent its members from involving into unnecessary legal battles, Mass Board of Realtors offers a multitude of services pertaining to correct legal interpretations of real estate legislation in the US. Standardized Legal Forms concerning the sale, lease and rental of housing and real property are made available to the realtors through MAR Product Mall. Moreover, the Code of Ethics has been developed to promote correct legal practices among real estate practitioners across the state.
