Missouri Real Estate Courses

To get salesperson real estate license, applicant must complete 60 hours of real estate courses from the MO real estate schools that are recognized by Missouri Real Estate Commission. Brokers need to finish 48 hours of real estate course in MO to sit for real estate license exam. Along with this candidate must have 12 months experience as licensed salesperson. Real estate classes for the same can be conveniently taken in the evening or on weekends. MO Real Estate Exam

The Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP) conducts the Missouri real estate exam and registration for the same is done with AMP only. For real estate salesperson exam candidates needs to get 48 hours of pre-licensing course certificate that has been completed with the accredited real estate school in MO. Real estate exam is computerized and booked by appointment that can be taken from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.

Missouri real estate exam has following two portions:

National Real Estate Examination (National)
Missouri Real Estate Examination (State Portion)

Real Estate Exam Questions

While giving exam question from both the portions will come together and total four hours will be given to complete the real estate exam in MO. But if candidate is appearing only for national level exam then 2.5 hours are given and for state portion of MO real estate exam 2 hours are provided. 100 question from the national portion comes in both broker as well as salesperson real estate exam.

State level test has 40 questions for salesperson and 75 question for brokers. Candidate can check the content and number of question for each in the Candidate Handbook that is available online in the website of AMP. The main purpose of the examination is to check the knowledge of real estate candidates on various aspects of law, rules and regulations so that they can perform their duty efficiently and keep the interest of public intact. has also provided the list of Missouri real estate schools which are approved by the Commission.
