Nevada Real Estate License Exam |
Nevada Real Estate License Exam is conducted by PSI Licensure: Certification, a testing agency. The real estate exam is a computer based test for which there are centers in different cities of Nevada. This real estate exam is closed book test so do not bring any reference material for examination. There are two types of Nevada Real Estate Exams that are offered by PSI.
- Real Estate Salesperson
- Broker
Further, for real estate salesperson as well as broker, Nevada real estate license exam will have two portions:
- National portion of examination
- State portion of license examination
NV Real Estate License Exam
In National portion; Real Estate Fundamentals, Modern Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Principles and Practice, Real Estate Law, the Language of Real Estate and Marketing Real Estate are covered. Whereas State portion of NV real estate license exam will cover Nevada Revised Statutes and Nevada Administrative Codes are covered. Time given to complete the salesperson as well as broker' s national real estate license exam in Nevada is 120 min and for state portion is 60 min. National portion of test will have 80 questions and state will have 40 questions and candidates need to score 75% marks in order to clear the test. Real Estate Exam in Nevada can be registered in any of the following ways:
- Telephone registration
- Fax registration
- Online registration
Along with these walk-in exam option also available but only for the candidates who had previously given this exam with PSI but unable to clear it. Seat to the walk-in candidates is given after scheduled candidates and it is on first-come, first-serve basis. Candidate will also have to pay additional $15 for walk-in real estate license exam in NV. It is advisable to reach 30 minutes earlier at the examination center so that all the formalities of identification, sign in etc can be completed. Later comers are not allowed to sit for Nevada real estate license exam and their fee is also forfeited.

Real Estate Exam Question
Nevada real estate license exam consists of objective type question where for each question there will be four options. You will have to check the right option. After clicking press ENTER. But if you are sure of the answer then you can click MARK to visit it afterward. After completing the entire NV real estate license exam, you will be able to check and review all the responses. But this depends upon the time. Examination scores will appear on screen as soon as you finish your license exam. If you have cleared it then you will receive successful notification with performance summary. But if you haven't cleared it then unsuccessful notification with diagnostic report will be given. This diagnostic report will contain your strengths and weaknesses. At the examination site candidates will also be given the printed official score report.
