New Jersey Real Estate Commission was created in 1921 under the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance. Real Estate Commision was established to administer the real estate licensing law, N.J.S.A. 45:15-1 et seq. New Jersey Real Estate Commission also has the Bureau of Subdivided Land Sales Control (BSLSC) that works according to the New jersey Real Estate Sales Full Disclosure Act. Under this act out of state properties such as condos, subdivided land sales and common interest ownership properties are handled. Registration and Public Offering Statement is submitted to the Bureau before any deal regarding these properties.
