Oklahoma Real Estate Schools cover the preliminary step of imparting real estate education. Post licensing real estate education requirements include forty five clock hours of real estate courses that should be completed within a year of obtaining license. The OK Real Estate License is valid for one year only.Real Estate EducationThen comes the Sales Associate level in which post licensing education requirement of 45 hours is not needed. Instead of this twenty one clock hours of real estate education are needed as continuing education by the sales associate. The renewal period for the license is three years. Along with this 90 hours of real estate education must be done from the Oklahoma real estate schools. To get brokers' license, applicant must complete 90 hours of real estate courses covering advanced real estate instructions and the courses that are approved by the Real Estate Commission.
Along with this s/he must have two years of experience as licensed sales associate. OK real estate schools, universities and colleges must be checked before getting the enrollment. OK real estate exam for sales associate as well as provisional sales associate is of three hours where as brokers real estate exam is of six hours. All the real estate exams in Oklahoma are given on computer and candidate can get the result immediately after the completion of the same. Candidate with certain disabilities can also request for the written real estate exam. Continuing education is necessary for the sales associates and brokers that include 21 hours of real estate education from the accredited Oklahoma real estate school. In this 12 hours are accredited by the Commission and nine hours consist of elective subjects.
