Housing Authorities in the States of US have the important place because of their extraordinary work in the housing sector. Every city and state of US has a housing authority that works for the housing industry and provide affordable and safe housing to all the low and moderate income category. It was the US Housing Authority that came into being in the year 1937 with same aim of providing housing to low income group. All the housing authorities in the city and state are connected to the authorities at national level.
For every housing authority in the different states and cities of US the funding and Public Housing programs are provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Here the rental assistance to elderly, disabled and low-income families is provided, which is then given to the respective housing authority of the city.
