Texas Real Estate License Reciprocity |
Texas Real Estate License Reciprocity agreement is not there with any of the state in US. Reciprocal agreement helps the professionals to get the license in other states. Candidates from the state under reciprocity need to complete the state portion of exam. But as the Texas real estate reciprocity with any other state is not there, any candidate looking to get into this profession must complete the entire educational needs.
Any candidate who wants to enter into real estate profession in Texas can be exempted from the national portion of license exam, if the following conditions occur:
- License applied for in TX is same as that of the original state. For example if the salesperson is applying for salesperson license in TX then there is no need to give national portion of real estate exam.
- Exemption is also given if national portion of exam is cleared from the real estate regulator association that is nationally recognized.
If any candidate wants to get the real estate license in any other state then the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) can send the copies of following documents to the regulatory agency of real estate in other state.
- Copy of licensure
- Registration History
- History of disciplinary action taken
