Utah Association of Realtors

Utah Association of Realtors (UAR) is one among the 54 state associations that constitute the National Association of Realtors (NAR) . Its purpose is to create an environment where real estate professionals can enhance their skills and extend the horizon of their knowledge in order to conduct business successfully and with competency and integrity. In order to make this happen, the Utah Association of Realtors works in close cooperation with the NAR and several of its local boards to develop resources and provide various real estate services to its members. It also takes collective action to preserve the rights of local people to own, use or transfer real property.

When you join a local board or association within the state of Utah, you automatically become a member of Utah Board of Realtors and also the National Association of Realtors. All you need to be able to join a local board of realtors is to have license in real estate business from Utah Real Estate Commission. While a real estate broker can become a member of any number of boards, the real estate agents in Utah can join only that board of which their brokerage firm is a member. It is also possible to join UT Board of Realtors as an affiliate member. After becoming a member of the association, you can avail a melange of real estate services provided by the National Association of Realtors.
