Washington Appraisal Board |
Washington Real Estate Appraiser Commission is a section of the Washington State Department of Licensing, which administers and regulates appraisal licensing processes in the state of Washington. It is a statutory body that came into existence when each and every state of the US was asked by the federal government to have a regulatory body of its own for real estate appraisers. Thus, the licenses provided by the Washington Appraisal Board allow appraisers across the state and also from other states to perform appraisal tasks in the state of Washington.
The Washington Real Estate Appraiser Commission is also responsible for the enforcement of the appraisal laws made by the state legislature. Hence, after licensing real estate appraisers, the Washington State Appraisal Board performs frequent investigations and receives complaints to ensure that the licensed professionals are behaving in accordance with the law. The government has also vested the Washington Appraisal Board with constitutional power to take disciplinary actions against persons who are found in violation of state or federal laws.Washington Real Estate Appraiser License
