West Virginia Real Estate Commission, WVREC enforces the WV Code 30-40 to protect the general public from any unauthorized practice in the field of real estate by the real estate professionals. WV Real Estate Commission is a three membered regulatory agency that was established according to the Acts of Legislature, 1937. The members of the commision are appointed by the governor with the advice from Senate for the period of four years. Two of the members should have at least 10 years of experience in the real estate and be the citizens of WV for last six years. The other remaining member should be from the public.
