Volusia County is located in the east-central part of Florida and stretches from the St. Johns River to the Atlantic Ocean. The population of Volusia County increased 11.9% from the year 2010 to 2020. Volusia County is home to more than half a million people.

Sunny Sands Beach is located between Daytona and Ponce Inlet, on the south end of New Smyrna. Sunny Sands has an area that is perfect for swimming or snorkeling.
